Nature lovers and hikers can enjoy hiking the Horseshoe Trail (which begins at Valley Forge and continues to the Appalachian Trail), which is located behind the campground. Middle Creek Wildlife Preserve is a 5 minute drive from our campground. This 5,000 acre preserve abounds in wildlife, hiking and fishing. Bicycle riding is also popular throughout the area.

Hickory Run Campground is situated on 80 acres, with campsites varying from tenting to pull-thrus with hookups. Wooded or open sites are offered to accommodate each family’s preference. Full Service log cabins are available for rent, accommodating a family up to eight. Along with any stay at our campground, you’re welcome to enjoy all the daily activities. Once you have settled in at Hickory Run Campground, the fun begins!

Away from it all, in the midst of everything, Hickory Run Campground offers 240 spacious sites, thoughtfully interspersed within 76 acres of one of nature’s most beautiful settings. Whether you come for a few weeks, stay for the entire season, or can only break away for a weekend, camping time is leisure time so we are committed to making your vacation the best it can possibly be.

Hickory Run Campground offers spacious RV sites, ranging from 50′ super pull-thru sites to 45′ back-in sites overlooking our beautiful fishing ponds. This RV resort in Pennsylvania Dutch Country has something for everyone. No RV? No problem! We have tent sites, camping cabins, and activities for everyone.

Whether you’re eight or eighty, you’ll find plenty to do without ever needing to leave Hickory Run Campground.

Once you have settled in at Hickory Run Campground, the fun begins! A variety of family activities for both the young and the young at heart are offered. Spend the day relaxing by the pool or fishing in our 3-acre lake, which is stocked with trout during the spring and autumn months.

During the summer, anglers enjoy fishing for bass, sunfish and bluegills. Paddle boats, kayaks, and canoes are also available for rent. You can join a game of basketball, tennis, volleyball, horseshoes or baseball…or just sit back and relax while the kids play miniature golf or enjoy the game room or one of the three playgrounds!

Weekend entertainment features hayrides, movies, dances, ceramics, swimming and much more. What a great way to mix and mingle with your fellow campers! Hickory Run Campground also offers special theme weekends throughout the season. The pig and bull roasts are popular specialties, along with the Mother’s and Father’s Day chicken barbecues. For a “spooktacular” time, don’t miss the popular Halloween weekends!
