Best campground in area. Been coming here since I was a kid and feels like nothing has changed. From the friendly atmosphere, fishing, private lake, paddle boats, kayaks, horse farm and fun activities everynight during the summer months at the store/hall. Will be back next year!!!!

We at HRC are looking forward to seeing the many of you who will be opening your personal sites this weekend. Please note that for your safety the "social" areas of the campground will stay quarantined and we ask for your understanding.

So come... Relax, unplug, enjoy the outdoors and when we make it through...know that we will be so ready to enjoy our many future planned activities with you all! Until then...Stay Safe, Stay Well...and know how much you mean to us ♡

STAY AT HOME order for PA

The entire state is now under "stay at home" orders.

Any idea if all camping will be open for the may 1st weekend

How do we get the free fire wood?

Wish we could come, but we’re on “stay at home” orders. ❤️ Maybe some day I’ll get to come and finish painting the play equipment! 😢

Is the trout derby still on for may 1st?

Thank you for your thoughts

Happy Friday everyone! We hope everyone is healthy and coping with the "shelter in" and "stay at home" orders from our Government, as best as they can. In order for everyone to stay healthy and be able to return to normal as quickly as possible, we are reminding all of our seasonals and campers that we are closed . We are anticipating to be open Friday April 3, 2020. Please do your part and continue to "shelter in" until 4/03. HRC misses everyone and we can't wait to see you! Stay safe and we will see you soon! ... See MoreSee Less

Hickory Run hopes that everyone is coping with "sheltering in" on this rainy Monday. We are pleased to give you an update on the status of PA campgrounds. Our state and national associations were able to overturn the Governor's decision to close campgrounds and be deemed a life sustaining business.
Campgrounds provide lodging and safe havens for families, sell propane and fuel and most have an on site store that carries the basic neccessity's.

However, our state association is asking us to adhere to our scheduled opening and not open early. They feel we should continue to shelter in for the next 2 weeks. Hickory Run will be open to campers on April 3,2020 barring any unforeseen circumstances.

PCOA (our state assoc.) is asking us to keep most of our buildings closed and curtail all indoor activities. Outdoor activities are encouraged along with social distancing. The following statement was issued:
If your facility is not open currently it is our recommendation that you do not allow consumers on your property until this period of time is over. Limiting travel and movement is important in the efforts as a society to stop the spread of Covid-19. We can work together to ensure this pandemic ends quickly and business can resume. Our primary objective is for public safety and we will continue to work to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the public. If at any time that campgrounds are not able to help flatten the curve and stop the spread of COVID-19 Pennsylvania Campgrounds will close until public safety allows them to re-open.

If you have any questions or concerns, please call us or message us via facebook. Our office is currently open for phone reservations and info. We can't wait to see everyone and we wish you and your family good health. We will continue to update you with any changes. Stay safe and well!

To all our Seasonal Campers,
Our state association, PCOA, has just informed us that we must remain closed. They are working with legislation to over turn the decision. We will keep you posted on this situation and are looking forward to open the 2020 camping season on April 1. If you have any questions or concerns, please call or message us. Please stay safe! We will see you soon!
